Brownfield, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: has begun with our Wild Turkeys..amazing to watch these handsome 'dudes' perform for the hens..the brilliant early morning sunshine, on the equally brilliant deep snow cover, was a problem..alttle easier to snap them on the shady side of the property..and I had to take all these through the window glass..

These birds are so much better looking than the domestic ones. Very cool.

This is the winner, drumming as she walks by appearing not to notice these two plumed hunks flexing their feathers. ;)

The dudes look magnificent, but the hen looks unimpressed with their grandeur. Nice picture.

About suzi46

suzi46

Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. But it was time to downsize and make a major lifestyle change..so that's what we did!! Going from the Mt Washington Valley region of Maine/NH all the way down to the "Horse Capital of the World"..Marion County in Central Florida! New photo ops in a totally new and intriguing area of this very large and varied state..let the fun begin!
