Brownfield, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: has begun with our Wild Turkeys..amazing to watch these handsome 'dudes' perform for the hens..the brilliant early morning sunshine, on the equally brilliant deep snow cover, was a problem..alittle easier to snap them on the shady side of the property..and I had to take these shots through the window glass..

Strutting their stuff, I see. Clarity is fine. You'd never know you shot through the glass.

Struttin' their stuff! Not sure why we only have hens at our house (and 2 juvenile males). My neighbor gets the strutting Toms all the time! Great shot.

About suzi46

suzi46

Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. But it was time to downsize and make a major lifestyle change..so that's what we did!! Going from the Mt Washington Valley region of Maine/NH all the way down to the "Horse Capital of the World"..Marion County in Central Florida! New photo ops in a totally new and intriguing area of this very large and varied state..let the fun begin!
