You've gotta love dandelions - they continue to provide that fresh flower moment right up until the heavy snows, and then they're back at it, showing up on the edges of melting snow banks in the earliest moment of spring! Kudos, and AC congratulations to you, Susan.

thankyou all for the great comments..taking these'dandy' shots seems redundant at times..but, like the frogs in the pond, they are interesting almost year round..especially now..love the stark contrast of a bright flower covered in frost crystals! and thanks Approvers so much for the Blue Border..:)

Great detail of little bits of frost, Susan... even the dandelions will give up soon.

About suzi46
suzi46 Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. The photo ops are virtually unlimited what with the surrounding working farms, dozens of lakes, ponds, and brooks, and thousands of acres of forest. Not to mention our own pond and brooks as well as extensive flower gardens, fruit bushes, vines, and trees. The views of Mt Washington and the Presidentials of NH only add to the drama! Not a bad place to be retired..and I am so glad I can share all of this with the wonderful folks on this great site..it has been a wonderful journey and learning experience thus far..and it's only getting better!
