This last series of storms have literally wiped out the beaches. We`ve seen this coming for a long time.

While the sand gets washed away on the ocean side of the Cape, it builds up around Provincetown. But every year, the thinning line of sand goes away a little more.

Where the tourists will go this summer can`t be the dunes, as they are all that we have left.
