Looks like some baker's fancy creations all coated in powered sugar. This is really amazing. You should send in to the weather channel....ah, that is right this is the weather channel now. But was thinking perhaps this is similar to the snow curls they were showing recently but a bit different on sanddunes. Definitely unique natural sculptures left by wind and snow.

Wow -- this is really weird! I never saw anything like this in a Star Wars movie.
