By August it should be pretty good! This part of the lake is a large lagoon and is only about 5-6 feet deep, so it gets pretty warm if we get some hot weather, and there are lots of shallow areas for the kids. If you go to Sparks lake, this is just North of the parking area at the boat launch, about 50 yards through the woods.

About sandyriverfisher
sandyriverfisher I live in Bend Oregon with my wife and three kids. My life revolves around wildlife and wild places. I love to hunt and fish, and am a "wanabe" wildlife photographer. My wife is a semi-professional portrait photagrapher. My pics arent the highest quality, but hopefully they are getting better as I go.
