She's definitely more of an indoor sort of girl, but enjoys fresh grass to chew on. I started bringing in fresh-picked grass to see if that would satisfy her, but she still wanted out. She doesn't stay out long (Joe said she wouldn't), so I just sort of hang around the front door until she decides she has had enough.

Her favorite places are in my recliner, and on the plank I installed in the upstairs window, where she can look out at the front yard and watch the activity in the tree right outside. Once in a while she will allow me to carry her to my bedroom window, where I also have an extended sill...made of a 6 foot long, 12 inch wide cedar board. It's the one in one of the photos, and gets the early morning sun...when we have sun!

The cats look like they are really enjoying your house. It's nice to see Fluff getting out. She must be one of those cats that stays in unless it's nice out. They have to be enjoying the warmer weather. Gee I wonder where Joe will take them next. :)

About osdianna

Born Oceanside, Ca. (Camp Pendelton actually, Navy hospital on the Marine base)in 1945. Lived all my life in California until 1998 when my dad dies and I moved to the Pacific NW to be closer to my ailing mother. I liked it so much I stayed, couldn't afford to go back anyway. I love it here but I miss real dirt (I have lots of sand), my roses, and the heat required to grow tomatoes. I walk the beach every day, rain or shine...well most days...with my trusty yellow lab Maggie.Favorite Quote: There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.
