Pensacola, FL (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Very intreasting storm ~ This cell developed vertically (or rolled over) right above my head. It was all in~cloud lightning, and mostly right above my position... I was very aware of this fact, as I was on the ground, keeping low, with the camera pointed almost 90 degrees upward. This was all going on right above me. One cloud to ground strike and I would have run indoors (I actually heard the rain wall advancing, and did run indoors literally seconds before it hit!).

cool pictures! I usually stay outside in storms until I feel my hair starting to stand on end, then I run inside and watch from behind a giant plate glass window. LOL! Craziness, I know, but I've done it since I was a kid and my Mom would have to drag me back into the house when the tornado sirens went off.
