The TV weather guy (Adam) called it snow showers.
Some people are calling it a blizzard.
Once I start digging I'm sure I'll find a name for it too. :-)

Heidrun~~I do hope you get snow too! It's not a good thing not to have it there in your mountains!
Cynthia~~thanks so much for your note! :-)
John~~You got lots more down there (I was in Duluth today) than we did up here. I only have maybe 3 or 4 inches of new stuff. Hopefully we'll get more this week but it doesn't look real promising does it?
Zomibe~~thanks so much for your note! :-)

I just wish it would have lasted, Dorothy. The wind came up and blew most of it off. But hopefully we'll get lots more in this next week! Thanks for your note! :-)

About minnesotamom
minnesotamom Hi! My name is Kathy and I live in northern Minnesota, USA, where the winter temps have dipped down to -60º below zero F. The summers are mild, usually only in the 70ºs but in recent years have been up in the 90ºs---too hot for me. I love being able to travel the world from my office chair, through all your great photos! Thanks to everyone who takes time to look at my pictures! :D free hit countersCreate your own visitor map!
