Caption: The solar eclipse today in San Diego. This was at 6:40 PM PDT at the height of the eclipse (about 80% of the sun was covered here). This was taken through my Orion XT8 8 inch Dobsonian Reflector telescope with a Baader film solar filter on the front, using my Iphone camera. The Iphone camera was definitely the weak link for this shot.
