The main range of the Elk Mountains, featuring Avery Peak (3854m, 12644ft), which is the peak to the left. Avery Peak has a huge flat mountain face, almost like a pyramid, but it's not facing the camera. The picture was taken from the Gothic road. We had a lot of sun and it was very warm with a lot of snow melting, but we have 2 snowy days ahead of us.

I currently live in the high Rockies of Colorado. There is a lot of scenery to capture here being surrounded by gorgeous mountains in all directions. I also like to capture weather events. I lived in Romania and New Mexico before, from where I also posted pictures. |
