This was the beginning of Isabel on Sept. 18th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. She hit our coastline at 105 mph as a caterogry 2 hurricane. I am 30 miles inland and our streets were already deserted. Our winds, at this picture were 41 mph with gusts up to 63 mph, and we lost our power, one hour later, for the next five days . My weather partner and I were running around like kids, taking photos, until we couldn't see anymore that night. During the night, she made our house shake, rattle and roll, with roof damage, flying shutters and a monster mash moan! My partner slept right through it!!!
