looking for the explanation of the white dots I made this gif. Toward the end a dot appears for a few frames and stays in one spot. It then fades and a new dot appears a few frames later up & to the left. Must be a satellite? But why would it stay in one spot for 6 30 second frames (add the camera processing time to that), fade for 4- 30 sec frames & show up again. I'm not smart enough to figure this out.

I'll have to see if this happens again. Just seemed strange over on the left for these 4 dots to slowly fade in & out. Appearing lasting for a few 30 second frames and then disappearing. It is after the brightest star on the left enters the trees, toward the end of the gif.

I've seen hot pixels in my photos and have had to edit them out but they are usually magenta or green for me. This is different.
Thinking a satellite but just doesn't seem to be moving right. The more you learn the more you realize you don't know

Maybe the satellite is moving toward you, so appears to be stationary? Otherwise I'd say camera artifact; not all of mine are colored.

Aircraft altering height has this effect, especially if they are approaching landing,and or coming directly at you, just a thought as I have noticed this.
