The hurricane was bad but the tornado that went through our front yard was the worst. Little did we know that it was the first of 3 direct hits in about 40 days and 40 nights. The black rectangles in the grass are 1/3 of our roof. Frances and Jeanne got the rest. Incredibly enough, out cars and boats were missed. The tornado snapped trees in a line across our yard but they missed destroying the cars and boats. Note the pine tree that fell over the pontoon boat was the only one of four that did not snap.
