Nice mirage from a cold temperature inversion in Tok this morning. Warming air aloft traps cold (-26 F, -32 C ) air on the ground. The thicker cold air bends light, making it look like the road rises over a hill, where in reality the road is flat.

Once the sun breaks over the mountains, the inversion mirage will disappear.

Nice series! Fun mirage, I usually relate them to heat! The principle only requires enough differential :)
