Often I don't even see the clouds move, or different directions of air currents. These movements were so quiet, so small, that I was surprised to see two different directions of movement when the gif came together.

One of the reasons I make these: to see what can otherwise not be seen simply in a single still image. Hopefully you get a chance to time lapse some lenticular clouds soon

I would REALLY LOVE to do that Daniel, just seeing one would be a treat!

Yes, these animated gifs bring out things that are there, but we don't notice.

About katy99780
katy99780 I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
