Thank you for plowing my road Rick!

They did such a good job taking care of the roads in our recent freezing rain and 7 inches of snowfall.

Usually I'm just fine with them leaving us to ourselves, but this time I was so glad to see him coming. They have had a very busy time the last few days, but have handled it very well.

If you need to warm up, come on down here to Augusta, GA, where we hit 80 degrees Wednesday--our fourth record high over the past week. Party's about over, though, with lows in 20s expected Saturday morning.

I've been seeing our version of these guys the past few days, spreading salt on the roads.

Great shot Katy.

About katy99780
katy99780 I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
