This lumberjack was chased away several times by a dominant bird, so when he got his chance, he dropped in and 'settled' right on the 'food patch' as if he was exhausted. I think he might have been in 'heat conservative' mode, as the temp was 50 degrees below zero. (-46 C) He sat very still for several minutes.
