Beautiful moon.

BTW, there was a lunar eclipse either the 28th or 29th. I forget which. That would account for any shadow on a full moon.

No, I don't do anything special for the camera, only for me! :)

The battery protests, goes very quickly. I try not to go in and out a lot, but leave the camera outdoors if I know I will come in and out and take shots of the moon or aurora. That way I avoid condensation on the camera and lenses, which would make frost when I went back out.

Out, and stay out for the duration, is the best for the camera. Maybe take the battery in with me if it's going to be a long time.
