Overlooking the Slana Slough, 45-50 miles south of Tok. We were surprised how windy it was here, after the still calm of the morning in Tok.

Brrrrrrilliant photography to make us all reach
for our sweaters, Katy! I wonder if the wind is
what took down those trees at the end of the
point of land at the left. It looks even windier
and colder up on those big, gorgeous mountains!
Congratulations on your new Blue!

Thank you SO MUCH for braving the cold to stop by my friends!

Just guessing, temp was around -10 and winds (Beaufort scale estimate) around 45 mph, so wind chill may have been around -45, where skin frostbites within 10 minutes. (just a guess here)

I didn't stay long, just snap-and-go!

Kat the trees are leaning from permafrost thaws in summer months.

Cetus, I am 100% ignorant of photoshop! :)
