Thanks for the comments gilg72, Amanda999,got2dogs and EndlesssHorizon! Yes Amanda...my daughter bought her horse this summer and is feeling the same way----but the man who owns the land and has the horses where she keeps Jasmine assures us that the horses in Minnesota are accustomed to the cold and do fine through it. EndlessHorizon...I agree, because I haven't had much luck with recent tries with these horses! A lot of misses (blurred back ends actually..lol)!!

jjulian My name is Jen and I'm a pediatric home health nurse---which is my first passion. I've lived in Northern Minnesota for three years, and have fallen in love with this beautiful place! My kids are entering adulthood and for the first time in years, I have some time for...(gasp)...a hobby. My son gifted me with a camera (and ongoing photography lessons!)this last year and I have been having a blast. I love this site!
