I really suck at this HDR stuff, but I'm trying. I really like the colors in this picture... I'm glad I got to see this with my own eyes, instead of just a picture, because it was awesome looking!

Cool pic. HDR's come out best if you use a tripod. Also it's easy to go overboard on saturation sometimes :)

haha I guess I should've mentioned, I don't own a tripod, unfortunately. I set my camera on my deck railing and tried to keep it as steady as possible. Thanks again for all the comments

WigglesMom, HDR (High Dynamic Range) is essentially 3 or more photos taken with different exposures, and then joined into one using a program (I use Photomatix), so it brings out more contrast and color compared to a standard shot. This photo was one of my first attempts at it many years ago. It most definitely was/is a sight to see, it happens somewhat often after a rain because there are many natural springs around that run above the ground. Thanks for the comment!
