Their happy color makes the long winter just a bit brighter.
I think I see green buds on the branches, but there must be snow on the ground reflecting on him.

I never tire of seeing photos of cardinals, I have never seen one in person, the contrast of winter and bright red is alway dramatic, and this portrait is outstanding!!! Congrats!
