Wowser! This is Fantabulous! Most of us will never see that green on a sunset, as is very rare, and more so here in the high Desert of Northern NM. Thanks for sharing.

Here's a site devoted to the elusive 'Green Flash'. It's all about atmospheric conditions, wavelengths of various colors, and has a lot of pics. It's a real phenomenon, but not like in that latest Pirate movie.

highground Apr 17, '12. Been here on WU since '03 and am still amazed at the bounty that the photo world has to offer. I did a year as an approver, that was sometimes very tough. We had a few misfits that wanted things not in the WU 'guidelines' and would not take NO for an answer. Hopefully those times are long gone. Thank you all for helping my WU experience be Wunderful.
