These Ranchers really have to feed their hay these days. Lot of the water ponds & dams here are mostly dry. Sad to see this awful dry pastures. Not easy for Ranchers to water their cattle. Sad and all I can see is those Meat Prices going higher yet. Even last year didn't look near as dry as now.

So sad to see, was reading about a Texas ranch who had sold almost all the stock, just to keep some vegetation on the land and so stop the soil blowing away. Hope and pray that rain will come and keep falling for all who need it, we have had enough for now.

VERY SAD situation Gil ! Glad you posted this . One of the large beef processing plants about an hour from where I live closed this month because the drought affecting the livestock in Texas . 10+ on pic .

Thank you much for viewing & commenting mcleodglen. Guess they would eat anything their teeth can grab.
In these situations, the Ranchers are feeding them Hay & other livestock feed. Expensive for the poor Ranchers, and another reason our Meat prices going up at the Grocery stores.
