Thank you much Steve. Yes they are very Leery of us. Smart birds too, along with the magpies (their cousins). Am finding those Flickers besides being very elusive, they are pretty smart fellows too.

That Backgnd is why I didn't zoom up on them for the first shot. After this shot, I zoomed up, but only got 1 flying away, and poor focus. I have a lot of crows at home, so the background was most important on this shot!

Thank you very much Kathy. I think it is only ornamental. After I had it on computer, I was also trying to decipher it. Next time I go by there, I'll look at it better.
