Thank you much Steve. Yes they are very Leery of us. Smart birds too, along with the magpies (their cousins). Am finding those Flickers besides being very elusive, they are pretty smart fellows too.

That Backgnd is why I didn't zoom up on them for the first shot. After this shot, I zoomed up, but only got 1 flying away, and poor focus. I have a lot of crows at home, so the background was most important on this shot!

Love your two-headed Raven, Gil!! But I'm really curious what the letters down the side of that stone edifice say??? Or are they just a fanciful design?? Love the background and the whole feel of this picture of NM!
