your new Blue!
Great shot, Gil !
CONGRATULATIONS !!!
Congrats!
Congratulations on your lovely AC series.
It looks like some grand work of ET in the atmosphere. :)
I have never seen anything like this, indeed nature is so beautiful!
I love Taos, NM!
World View selection honor!!
Just an observation... if you don't mind, I see the ISO on this is up a bit high... perhaps 400 - 600 or such might have been a bit more appropriate... I see this one and the moon have the same ISO - maybe you caught both in a short amount of time... Again, just my comment. I'ts a great photo nevertheless!
Debbie
I am puzzled now, as I had not even looked at my ISO. When I looked at the photo and noticed the noise on it, I just thought to myself, that perhaps I should have upped the ISO, but didn't bother to look to see where it was at.
I am puzzled because, I was on Manual, and my ISO is always at 200, and rarely ever go higher except occasionally go to to 400 - 600, but that is about my Max.
I was surprised to see 3200!
I know on some Auto programs the camera automatically adjusts it, but never knew that Manual setting would do that.
I was experimenting after your note, and I did notice that at higher shutter speeds, that 200 ISO does go higher to 1800 and I did see 3200 again. I had no idea that it would do that on its own being on Manual.
I'll have to watch that and see what I might discover. If I do clarify this somewhat, I will definitely let you know what I come up with.
Thank you so much, and really appreciate your input on this. It is very helpful to me.

Problem Solved. Thanks to Debbie above.
Somehow I had thru the Menu unknowingly to me, I had set the ISO to [Auto] So on my Camera with that setting, it will automatically set the ISO for P, S, A, M, modes. Also was set for ISO Max of 3200. I now have it on Manual, & if I set it to Auto again, it will be a Max of 1600.
Debbie just forced me to read more on my Owner's Manual. THANK YOU DEBBIE!
This being sent on a WU e-mail to Debbie.
