Unlike Duane I like my winter from July 5th to July 3rd.
Carl, you don't need a shorter winter, you need a faster snowmobile.

Yes, the pretty stuff is fleeting and the crummy stuff stays.
But your images capture the truly beautiful moments so well.
Schedule a trip to FL for a break to see the migrating species (of all kinds) and enjoy the warmth a bit. Winter is one of the best seasons in Gainesville. Am waiting for the Sandhill Cranes to return.

gorgeous! i'm just winter-deprived but we had our tiny taste for a few days last month and that was all JR could handle. Good ol' Southern Boy, he'll never live in the snow.

Gorgeous shot! I feel the same about winter, but I think I would miss the change of seasons if I lived in a warm climate. Winter could be shorter though!
