These guys are good friends of mine form Maine. In in addition to their regular jobs they sometime shovel roofs and have for many years. Dana told me that this was the most snow he has ever seen on a roof. The backside had over 4 ft. in some spots.

Good friends for sure!!! Dangerous work!!! Heard about a guy who had an avalanche while shoveling on roof. Fell feet first into 5ft of snow. Was in there for 2 hrs B4 being rescued!

Can see the pile-up over your garage. Yikes!

Me personally, I think I'd rather just take a stick with a rope tied to the middle, chuck it up on the roof spear-style, then pull the rope to dredge/trawl most of the snow off the roof from a safe distance away, and down below. :D
