Hello , my name is Tim . I live in the small farming community of Ropesville , Texas with my wife and photo partner Sherry . I got involved with photography because of my older brother Steve - a fantastic photographer who lives outside of Seattle , WA . My favorite work , apart from his , is a terrific book entitled " Ghosts in the Wilderness " by Tony and Eva Worobiec . It captures the remains of small , abandoned rural communities across the Midwest , much of it shot in black and white . I also have become a fan of photographer Jim McGuire . I look forward to seeing your dirt at my house near Dallas the next day or so when the approaching cold front sends it this direction. That happens fairly often.
Good grief! This looks worse than the dust storm I remember seeing when I was little in AZ back in '87. My Grandparents moved to the Panhandle back in the 40s and used to tell me about the dust storms that would roll through. I remember Grandmother saying that everything in the house had to be cleaned afterwards and that dirt got everywhere.
