Honolulu, HI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: All underwater photos taken with a Nikon Coolpix AW100. We found a lagoon with five Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles and we have visited everyday. We have fantastic video too but way too much. It needs to be edited and made into one film.

Thank you kindly, the best investment was the underwater camera. We have awesome video of these beautiful creatures in action. The strong wave prevent great shots and video but I think we are doing pretty good for first timers!

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
