Dassow, Germany

Caption: i.e. Help obviously much needed for this old estate/small castle in northern Germany. The roof, at least, has been fixed, so there is a chance of "survival" for this structure. This building actually has something like a moat around it (the funky structure in the foreground is part of the bridge) and is located just east of the former border between East&West Germany, just a couple of miles from the Baltic Sea

A nice but sad picture. I hope that it will be restored. There must be a use for such beautiful old buildings.

Instead of settling down in Europe I have now moved on to far eastern Asia, where it looks as if I'll stay for a while. Quite a change, a big adjustment from quiet country living to life in the mega city that is Seoul, South Korea.
