With the high winds the snow has drifted to over two feet in some areas of the yard, and over three feet in the woods. I cannot get in the woods now.

It was touch and go for a day, but we're able to get out now....although I'd have to say I really prefer to stay inside with these temps. :) Thanks, Dorothy!!

HAHA! Yes, for two days he spent many hours in the "snow removal" occupation. Now that the frigid air has moved in, he's not going outside except to warm up the car. Then we go to the supermarket and come back! :) It is a great time for reading though....

Oh yes, the house is nice and warm. We use a pellet stove which heats the entire cottage. Only on very cold days do we turn on the furnace, and that's just to warm everything up for a few minutes. Thank you for your comment!!

About deepwoods
deepwoods Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
