Hi, Thanks for the comment. This was taken a while back - so glad folks are still looking. I loved taking this shot.

Quoting WigglesMom:
Thank you so much for capturing, not only the beauty of the sky, the emerging painting on canvas, etc., but also the feeling this Peter James Carolin has for his art. This photo truly speaks a thousand words, each of them a blessing. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! - Julie in Ohio

Thanks again for the comments. I missed him using the big paint brushes, but he was using his fingers and a trowel-like tool with the white oil paint. I was impressed, but left him alone to work.

Looks like he's resorted to fingerpainting - LOL. That's quite a palette contraption he has there - don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. I stretched a canvas that size years ago for a large painting and never got around to filling it - it happens to have an aspect ratio of 16:9, so now I'm using it as an HD video projection screen. Congrats on your AC, and for providing us a glimpse of this fellow's moment in the sun!

Thanks for the visits and quick comments. The artist is Peter Carolin and has exhibits around Florida. One worth noting is at

I would love to see what this one looks like too, when he is done.

If it isn't moving too fast, I may get a decent image from it. It is fun to experiment with a camera and the images; and to read all the tips and ideas everyone else has.Been in Gainesville, Florida for over 20 years now; and love the geography. But the mountains of the West will always attract me.
