I would love to experience this myself one day, if only it didn't harm so many people.

Awesome photo,,but I saw some news footage this evening showing people like this that thought they were impervious to 'Storm Surge' and barely escaped with their lives, and then trying to help other like-minded individuals, sounded like they could not help them, but,I may have not gotten the whole story... This shot certainly illustrates the word ...STUPID!!! Really puts it into perspective don't it?! Good job!! :)

Excellent photo. The stunt that these people are pulling is highly dangerous. Every year someone dies doing something similar. Some people will only learn the hard way that nature is totally unforgiving. If someone decides to tempt fate, sometimes fate wins and that persons loses.

To everyone that says that these people are stupid... my guess is that they are alive and well and experienced the power of some weather first hand, as is intended. Don't let your fear, programming and lack of understanding stop you or cause you to criticize others that are living a life that you could only wish for because of your own fears... This is a great capture! Peace!

What a bunch of total fools. And then when they get overcome, they'd cry cry cry where's the Coast Guard to rescue me??? The news networks are just as foolhardy, sending in reporters to get live coverage when the authorities have ordered evacuations.
