Omaha Cemetery in Normandy,Northern France,covers 172 acres and has 9387 buried serviceman of all ranks and the names of 1557 missing.The French Government gave the land to the U.S.A as a mark of gratitude to the sacrifice of these soldiers from the 2nd World War.Picture taken earlier in the year.
