Great shot! It looks like there's a car on top of that bus! How much sea effect snow is that?

In the one day in the area I was 80-100cm fell. Overall though the area had up to 500cm. Crazy high amounts.

You've been in Japan too long. Us 'mericans are stoooooopid. I'll look it up in inches. A lot obviously. 500cm in how short a time? Wow!

500cm was the base. So 5 meters is 17 feet for all my American friends, and yes I been here to long. Feet and Fahrenheit is second nature now. To be honest the metric system is so much easier and better to use though.

100cm would be around 39 inches (3.2 feet) & 500cm would be just over 196 inches! As you said Spetrm, crazy amounts.

Makes no sense.

Which are the not so nice comments? I think nanapoo has misunderstood. A 500 cm base? What? That's an insane amount of snow. More snow pics please!

Ill work on it, on the 16th Im heading back in to the mountains on the west coast where the crazy amount of snow is. From where I am in Tokyo the only white stuff we can see is Fuji-san off in the distance.
