Greenview, CA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Taken just before more heavy smoke moved in over the area again making it now look like a foggy evening out there. The valley is crawling with firefighters and law enforcement from all over the state with a large encampment set up. We are praying for the rain that has been predicted (along with more thunderstorms) later this week will do more good than harm. Pray for all the wonderful firefighters trying to help us.

We are having a good day so far today. Temps are perfect - but it can sure change on a dime if the wind shifts. Thanks, Kat.

Prayers are up for your firefighters, Lori!
Living in a 'fire state", too, I understand how
hard they work. I hope you get lots of rain to
help them out, too...but no more lightning! It
does look like fog and it made for beautiful,
gentle colors in the sky. The ONLY good side effect
of fires is the colors in the sky, especially sunsets.

We did get a couple good downpours over our house, Charlotte - I hope the wetting rain made it to the hot spots too. Today was a 'dry lightning' day, though. Tomorrow we have a better chance for moisture. Thank you for the prayers!

That's what it looked like here - 20 drops - better chance tomorrow - they guess!
