A great pic of a not-so-great event ... I have been up in that canyon ... I hope that there is no loss of life and that they get those fires out quickly.

It is getting pretty close to houses and they've had to evacuate. My daughter lives very near there, but she says she is not worried.

Ouch! When I heard about the evacuations in Wenatchee this morning I was wondering if you'd get a chance to capture the event.

Yeah, I figured since I can see it out my livingroom window all day, I may as well take a few pictures down by the river. This is just one of many fires in Washington right now due to lightning.

Nature caused it, let nature put it out. Circle of life, that's how the world works.

Thank you Gil! Me too, but there are so many of them, and not enough firefighters and helicopters.

About RadioDJgirl
RadioDJgirl My name is Tresa, thank you for stopping by to look at and comment on my photos! I'm a native of California, I spent 5 years in Ohio, and 1 year in Iowa before moving to Wenatchee Washington. I am a radio personality, a wife (newlywed), mother, and a Christian. This site is so addicting and fun! I enjoy sharing my surroundings with you and checking out your photos as well. I love weather/landscape photography, but my real passion is portrait photography, because I like to make people happy when they see how good they can look in a photo. Currently working in radio again and can be heard online by clicking the "listen live" button as well as locally on the radio at kkrv.com if you'd like to give it a listen (UPDATE: back on the "beach" as we radio people call it when we're unemployed. Who knows what is next. More college? A new career?
