glad to see you've got alot of snow up there this year..gorgeous mountain..alittle higher than our Mt Washington that I get to look at every day here on the opposite coast..45 mi west of Portland ME on the NH border..terrific series!! :)

Thanks Suzi!!! Mt. Washington has notoriously high winds, doesn't it???? That mountain is beautiful as well. Yes...we have a good base of snow up there now...but just a couple of months ago, I got some photos of it without hardly anything on it!!! That is part and heart of a hugely important watershed.

Awesome picture! I live in Oregon but have never really seen Mt.Hood very close, especially with snow on it, boy am I missing out. My favorite Mt used to be Mt.Shasta.

Mt. Shasta is very scenic as well; check out SVLover's photos on this site or search "Mt. Shasta". If you live in Oregon, I think you owe it to yourself...really; to take in the beauty that we have here...it is everywhere...North to South ...East to West. Get out there Destiny!!!
