Mt. Shasta is very scenic as well; check out SVLover's photos on this site or search "Mt. Shasta". If you live in Oregon, I think you owe it to yourself...really; to take in the beauty that we have here...it is everywhere...North to South ...East to West. Get out there Destiny!!!
Lace up those hiking boots and take a camera with you!!!

Awesome picture! I live in Oregon but have never really seen Mt.Hood very close, especially with snow on it, boy am I missing out. My favorite Mt used to be Mt.Shasta.

Thanks Suzi!!! Mt. Washington has notoriously high winds, doesn't it???? That mountain is beautiful as well. Yes...we have a good base of snow up there now...but just a couple of months ago, I got some photos of it without hardly anything on it!!! That is part and heart of a hugely important watershed.
