Thank you, Charlotte. It is called Longwood Gardens, in Pennsylvania, about 70 minutes from where I live. It is their annual mum festival, and they are just gorgeous. I have a membership, so I visit every month to see the new flowers and themed arrangements. They just finished planting their spring bulbs, and were feverishly working on the light displays for the holidays. Their Christmas extravaganza starts Thanksgiving day. Can't wait!!

So far as I know, Jan, the ones with linear petals like this are called quills, those that curl at the ends are called spiders, and those in which the petals open out at the ends are called spoons.
