We went out to see the comet, but it was too cloudy, which just happend to make for a nice sunset. Also saw at least 10 bald eagles, though I didn't have a long enough lens to do them justice. They were on the other side of the river. The Platte river, so that is about a quarter mile where we are.

I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects.The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry |
