Red White and Blue Snow Storm

It was snowing like crazy last night! Very windy too. I shot this looking out through the windshield of my vehicle. I will leave figuring out how I got the snowflake tracks to be red, white, and blue, as an exercise for the viewer, but I will tell you that it had nothing to do with Photoshop. It had much more to do with the type of vehicle I was operating...

Love that colour scheme, unless its in my rear view. You guys have to be out in all weathers. Friend of mine set off to work a couple of weeks ago, spent 12hours attending crashes and directing traffic, still in his own car, never actually got to work to pick up his patrol car.

Oh, man, that's a bad day! We were very quiet the night I took this. Everybody seemed to be staying home. I have taken thousands of photos in such weather of folks in trouble that I can't share here, nor would you want me to. I am happy to be able to do something like this once in a while.

About LarryD
LarryD I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
