I actually used a Spyder Cube to get the color right on this photo. It was a very strange Magenta, coppery, bronzish color.

Ha, the same thing happened to me! The color was fading to the SW and I was just about to leave when I looked to the south and saw the color coming up in that direction. Then it just got better and better. Then it REALLY got dark.

About LarryD
LarryD I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
