The Ladd Observatory at Brown University was dedicated in 1891 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Weather observations have been made at the Observatory starting in 1890. The observatory is currently open to the public, free of charge, on Tuesday evenings, weather permitting. Visit the website or call (401) 863-2323 for information about visiting. |
