We had 20 inches fall on us 2 weeks ago in NC. Trouble with getting it off the vehicle was the snow got pushed beside it and we could hardly open the doors when we were through! Good luck....inch by inch, anything's a cinch!!!

I just do it because my friends who are from snowy areas do it so I figure there must be a good reason. It does seem to make scraping the window easier. I think I forgot to put them up this time so I'll report back if they get stuck.

Take your time. I see your wipers are up - I'm told it's to keep them from freezing???? I gotta say I lived in NY for 29 years and never did that and they never froze either!

This is the kind of huge snowfall I remember from childhood in NY.
