Well, guess that motto did not apply today as the roads were closed and to make sure that nobody used them there is about 25 inches of snow covering the road and it is after 1 pm.

Maine and New Hampshire Post Offices canceled delivery today. Since they intend to stop Saturday deliveries anyway, why not now? It was a historic blizzard! Glad to see you are safe, Eleanor.

Our roads are still closed per order of the governor so guess even if they wanted to deliver they couldn't plus it would take a huge 4-wheel drive vehicle to get through our road. Most snow I have ever seen in CT in one storm.

Thanks, Eleanor L.
