Caption: He must be absolutely frozen but at least he can now 'break the ice' with the story of his success when trying to chat up some girl this evening. Obviously, in Greece, virtue has it's own rewards.

So was he the only one? Our polar bear club involves going on a motorcycle ride on New Year's day. Not stupid enough to get in water!!

About Granddad

Granddad

We are English, (except our dogs, who are definitely very Greek, having been abandoned strays who took us in out of the kindness of their hearts). We retired to Greece in 2003 to escape the phoney political correctness endemic throughout the Anglo-Saxon world and to mix with some real people again. We live in the Exo-Mani in the extreme South of the Peloponnesus, where the sea and countryside are beautiful and the weather is also less political (i.e. they don't tax sunshine yet). The site provides an opportunity for us to bore the whole world with our snapshots and for which we are duly grateful.
