Caption: Sunset in Central Texas today brought a dramatic iridescent sky that lasted for quite a while, going through a number of beautiful changes and convolutions.

Thanks so much for including this photo in your "best of" monthly blog. These iridescent clouds were magnificent, and the longest lasting I've ever seen. The clouds were featured on the network news that night and seen by many in person as well as on the news. The day was warm, reaching 103.6F with no rain.
