Was out shooting lightning yesterday and watched this gorgeous thunderstorm build over Yucca Valley, just east of Big Bear Lake, Ca The details in the cloud were unreal and thought it was so neat. The storm did drop heavy rain and some lightning before dissipating.

Wow, that's one beautiful cloud. Love the way it swirls back and forth at the top. One of the prettiest and most unusual clouds I've ever seen. Congrats on a lovely AC photo.

It looks this way because the storm is dissipating. The anvil part of a T-Storm lasts much longer than the bottom.

I used to live in 29 Palms (just east of Yucca Valley). I was there with my husband, who was stationed at the Marine base in 29 Palms (1982-1985). Sure was cool to see a caption of a place I recognized from my past. What a beautiful picture. Thanks for the wonderful memories you provided with just one picture. :)
